W.E. Graham Community School and Winlaw Elementary are closed today, December 19, due to power outages.

While WEG is closed, the Valhalla Wilderness Program field trip has gone ahead as planned.

Reports are that power is restored to the Slocan Valley, however WEG and Winlaw Elementary will remain closed today.

This is the last day of school before the winter break. School will be back in session on Monday, January 5, 2026.
