Good Afternoon WEG Families,

Just a friendly reminder of a few things for this week:

• We will be having our Truth and Reconciliation ceremony on Wednesday, September 25 instead of September 27 like other schools.  This is to accommodate the number of students who will be away on fieldtrips.  Your child is welcome to wear an orange shirt or accessories on this day in honour of the occasion.  
• Mr. Porteous's class will be going on their camping trip on Thursday, and Mr. Marechal's class will be leaving tomorrow, Tuesday.  We wish them a wonderful time!
• On Mondays, our teacher counsellor, Ms. Stephanie, will be opening the library for students to sit and read, do crafts, etc.  
• If you haven't already done so, please remember to pay your child's student fees
• I hope to host our first school assembly in the next week or so, once we have all students in the building
• Please review the WEG and district Codes of Conduct that were sent out today.  They will soon be posted in and around the school to remind students of expected behaviour.
• The Superintendent will be visiting our school on Friday, September 27.  We look forward to the visit and showing her all the wonderful things that are happening in our building.
