Good Day WEG Families,

This month has been busy as we have now finished up our weekly ski days just in time for a fresh dump of snow last night!  Overall, the ski trips were a big success.  It was a great time for school staff, students and families to inter-mingle and share in some great conversation.  Thanks to all who participated and those who chaperoned or drove.

This month, we held Red and White Day on February 12 as well as a school dance in the afternoon.  Our positive behaviour focus this month is Kindness and Caring which ties in nicely with Valentine's Day.  We continue to watch for students being kind and share their acts on the bulletin board next to the Science lab.  Feel free to pop in and take a look!  There are so many things to celebrate at our school!

This month, we will be hosting a Family Game Night on February 27 from 5-7 p.m.  This will include a dodgeball tourney, board games in the library as well as some treats.  Flyers for this event will be put up soon as well as be sent home for families.  This event also serves as a fundraiser for our OELP class who is raising money for their trip to Bamfield in April.  As part of their efforts to raise funds, they will be selling Purdy's Chocolates.  Please see the link below.  A portion of all sales goes towards the class trip.  What a great way to get  your Easter treats!  Your support is greatly appreciated.
