Principal's Weekly Blog December 12
Good Morning WEG Families,
We've almost made it to the break! Today our VWP students are ski touring and our OELP students are enjoying some rest and relaxation at Nakusp Hot Springs! It is quiet around the school day but a nice way to end the week. Next week is sure to be busy with our Christmas Concert on Tuesday, December 16 at 5 p.m. We will have performances from K-8 and we look forward to having you join us! Madame Rexin's will be selling baking as a class fundraiser so try and support her class if you are able.
Over the break, the flooring is being replaced in the OELP classroom, something that has been many years in the making. We are excited to have that work done, as well as the smaller classroom next door, and look forward to working in those spaces again.
Just a friendly reminder to get your ski forms in before the end of next week. We need forms and money brought in so that we can properly plan for the trip and be able to pay Whitewater.
The last day of school is December 19 and students will return to school on January 5. Ski days start on the 14th of January and run for 5 consecutive weeks. Our students represent our school well and it's always a fun time. Please remember that lessons are mandatory for all students. If you have any questions, please contact the office.
From all of us here at W.E. Graham, I would like to extend my warmest holiday wishes you and your family. May you be blessed with great joy over the break. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.
Warmly,
Jenn
