W.E. Graham Code of Conduct

1. We have the right to be SAFE.

This means we have the responsibility to:

  • be accountable for our actions
  • recognize, avoid, and not create dangerous situations
  • inform appropriate people about dangerous situations

2. We have the right to be RESPECTED.

This means we have the responsibility to:

  • treat others with respect
  • respect the property of the school, other people, and ourselves

3. We have the right to LEARN.

This means we have the responsibility to:

  • come to school prepared to learn
  • allow others the opportunity to learn
  • always put forth our best effort

4. We have the right to be HEARD.

This means we have the responsibility to:

  • listen to the speaker(s).
  • allow others time to speak
  • think carefully before we speak

WEG logoW.E.Graham Community School is a Kindergarten to Grade 10 school. Located in the scenic village of Slocan,  center of the unique Slocan Valley. Programs include the Valhalla Wilderness Program (Gr. 9/10), Outdoor Environmental Leadership Program (Gr. 7/8), Multi-aged K-2 class, with a Primary outdoor program, Multi-aged 3-5 class, Slocan Homelinks,  Hot Lunch Program, Breakfast Program, Fruit & Vegetable Program, and primary and child/youth after school programs. W.E.Graham also has close links to the W.E. Graham Community Services Society and Slocan Valley Recreation Commission and is a venue for various activities and events for members of the community.
